We Heal Together: Weaving Interconnection with Yogic Practices for Personal and Collective Healing at Asheville Yoga Center

Schedule:
Friday: 5:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am-12:00pm

At this time on our planet, when so much disconnection pervades, we must remember our interconnectedness and our capacity to heal. Yoga is an ancient technology whose intent is to support us in remembering our inherent wholeness and remind us of what we can practice when we feel fractured or fragmented. It is a practice designed to help us meet the moment skillfully, with intention and care. During this weekend immersion with Michelle C. Johnson, author of Skill in Action and various other books, spiritual teacher, and healer, you will delve deeply into the teachings of yoga to reconnect with the infinite web of connection we are a part of. This transformative experience will focus on both personal and collective healing, infusing yoga philosophy and practices to support you and your community. The immersion will strike a balance between practice and application, so you will leave with the tools you need to integrate the lessons from the immersion into your yoga teaching and space holding at large.

This training will include meditation, asana, pranayama, somatic practices, yoga nidra, work with archetypes, ancestral practices, rituals, relationship-building, reflection, and more. Leave with tools and skills for healing. Experience a sense of open-heartedness and a profound understanding of why prioritizing our individual and collective healing is essential.
