Healing Arts

with Michelle Cassandra Johnson

A combination of coaching and guidance, spiritual and metaphysical skills and offerings, and shamanic practices.

Sessions are held virtually and in-person

Michelle was a clinical social worker for 20 years. She found that work rewarding and fulfilling, but over time it became challenging to navigate diagnostic constraints, insurance complications, and the limited interventions and modalities she could explore.

As a yoga teacher, spiritual director, and guide, and someone who recognizes that the Universe is in constant communication with us, Michelle has expanded her work to offer a full range of healing arts services.

To Michelle, healing arts practices that are aligned with integrity and wholeness are a breath of fresh air.

Michelle is able to bring in so many more tools for support, deriving from a holistic perspective rather than a framework focused on treating symptoms. Michelle does not believe symptoms are what we need to treat.

Michelle believes we must dig deeper to understand what blockages might be in the way of someone living a fulfilling, connected and purposeful life.

WHY THIS WORK NOW?

The Healing Arts, as I practice them, are rooted in the lineage of Healing Justice—a framework and art form that honors our personal and collective capacity to heal.

In a world shaped by trauma, disconnection, and systems of harm, we cannot heal in isolation. Healing Justice invites us to remember that our stories, wounds, and liberations are interwoven. It calls us to engage healing not only on an individual level, but also in our relationships, communities, institutions, and culture.

Now more than ever, we need practices that connect us to ancestral wisdom, ritual, and Spirit—technologies that remind us wholeness is possible. This work is about reckoning and repair. It is about transformation. It is about choosing freedom, again and again.

TRANSVERSE

A Divination Deck to Respond to Grief & Loss

Michelle created this 45 card deck accompanied by a booklet of descriptions and mantras to assist people in healing as they move through the process of grief. Each card has a mantra included in the description and interpretation, and the deck comes in two sizes.
