The Alchemy of the Hive: Darkness, Attunement, Sweetness An online three-Part Series with Michelle C. Johnson

An online three-part series with Michelle C. Johnson

March 5th, 12th, and 19th | 1:00-2:30pm ET

Michelle is a bee lover and tender, activist, and person who is deeply committed to healing work that supports bringing individuals, the collective, and our entire ecosystem back into balance. Michelle is excited to bring bee magic to you in the form of this three-part series. Darkness, Attunement, and Sweetness are all things Michelle has learned more deeply about from the wisdom shared with her by the honeybees. Each class will include meditation, community building, wisdom from the honeybees, self and community reflection practices, and a ritual.

Week 1: Darkness

Bees spend most of their life in the darkness of the hive. In this class, we will explore what lessons we can learn while existing in the dark.

  • An exploration of the relationship between dark and light

  • An invitation to work in the dark as we dream up a new vision for ourselves and future generations

  • What medicine can come forth while we labor, birth, breathe, dream, and create in the dark?

Week 2: Attunement

Bees are a super organism and attune to one another to support the entire hive. In this class, we will explore how we, as humans, can attune with other beings on the planet to support the entire collective.

  • An exploration of the communities we feel attuned to.

  • A look at where you are aligned and attuned to community and where you might be out of alignment.

  • We will take lessons from the bees about communicating with one another to better attune to each other's needs and the entire ecosystem.

Week 3: Sweetness

If you have ever had the honor of tasting fresh honey from a beehive, then you know how intoxicating the smell and taste of it can be. The bees work very hard to create such sweetness. In this class, we will explore all that goes into creating honey and what we can do to create sweetness amid the chaos that is present on our planet at this time.

  • I will share about the elements and their relationship to honey and bees.

  • We will explore alchemy and transmutation

  • We will explore what it means to bring sweetness into our lives and the lives of others.

All sessions will be recorded in case you miss one, and recordings will be available for two months after the end of the course.

Sliding Scale:

$75 Community Rate (discounted)

$100 Sustainer Rate (pays for you)

$125 Supporter Rate (supports others as well as yourself)

*Note: Please let us know if you need a scholarship or a pay-what-you-can option.
