Unwell Together FREE WEBINAR
Ritual, Community, and Ceremony Amidst the Polycrisis
with Michelle Johnson, Stephanie Ghoston Paul, and Tristan Katz
Wednesday, July 29th, 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET
Online via Zoom
We are living through an unwell time.
And more and more, that unwellness is noticeable in our rooms, our meetings, our classrooms, our circles, our retreats, our client spaces, our organizing spaces, and our communities.
People are agitated. Grief is close to the surface. Conflict is not theoretical. Harm happens. Power is present. Nervous systems are carrying more than many of our containers were designed to hold.
So what do we do when things get sticky?
How do we stay without collapsing, controlling, disappearing, spiritual bypassing, or outsourcing what is ours to hold?
How do we become more practiced at being unwell together?
In this free webinar, we’ll explore live, organic conversation exploring:
how to tend groups and community spaces in the midst of ongoing crisis
what belongs to the facilitator, what belongs to the group, and what belongs to the larger systems moving through the room
why conflict, contraction, and disintegration are not signs that something has gone wrong
how micro-choice points can help us interrupt familiar patterns
what it means to practice Beloved Community when no one knows what TF to do
how ritual, ceremony, somatic practice, and ancestral technologies can support us in staying, loving, grieving, repairing, and becoming
This is for you if:
you facilitate, teach, gather, hold space, organize, coach, lead, heal, counsel, or care for others
you are noticing more agitation, rupture, grief, collapse, conflict, or overwhelm in the spaces you hold
you want to build skill without pretending there is a perfect script for crisis
you are tired of “safe space” promises that ignore power, conflict, harm, and accountability
you are longing for practices that are embodied, relational, spiritually rooted, and sustainable
You’ll leave with:
a clearer sense of what is yours to hold and what is the group’s to practice together
questions and practices for creating choice points when things get sticky
a more grounded frame for conflict, accountability, and repair
an invitation to consider what you are ritualizing in this particular season of unwellness
